The final design of the Claretta bar stool, available in two heights, was inspired by the atmosphere of Parisian bistros. Designer Florian Schmid endowed it with sleek and refined lines. While its design is simple, it stands out thanks to distinctive details such as the visible connection between the curved legs and the backrest, which is slightly tilted to provide maximum comfort. The base is made of ash wood, available in several shades of stain or colored lacquer. A wide range of upholstery options offers an endless variety of vibrant and neutral choices. The bar stool is stackable up to five high and is also available in a classic chair version , with or without armrests.
High or low bar stool? Which one is right for you?
High bar stools are primarily used in restaurants, bars, bistros, and other dining establishments. They are characterized by a seat height of around 75 cm. For a high bar stool, it is recommended to have a bar countertop at a height between 110 and 115 cm.
A low bar stool, also known as a kitchen bar stool, is most commonly used for home kitchen bars and islands. Its seat height is around 65 cm. The recommended height for the bar countertop is between 91 and 95 cm.
