The Soundwave Sky acoustic panel was designed by a Dutch designer named Marre Moerel. She was inspired by the silhouettes of the world's metropolises, especially New York. The pattern reflects New York's street network and can also be seen from a bird's eye view as a huge mountain range. The vertically placed panel reflects the sound back and forth. Horizontally, it absorbs the sound. The panel is made of recyclable moulded polyester fibres in anthracite, grey or white. The individual panels can be stacked side by side to create different shapes and combinations or used separately as an interesting element.
