The luxurious bar stool with backrest fits harmoniously into the BABILA collection. The ergonomic polypropylene shell, which is reinforced with glass fibre, is available in several colours. The slatted base in chrome-plated steel, antique brass or with a comaxite surface combines perfectly with the other pieces in the collection. If you need a bar stool with a higher seat for your interior, reach for the BABILA 2748 stool. This model is also available in an upholstered version.

High or low bar stool? Which is the right one?

High bar stools are mainly used in restaurants, bars, bistros and other eating establishments. It is characterised by a seat height of around 75 cm. For a high bar stool, it is recommended to have a bar top between 110 and 115 cm high.

Thelow or also kitchen bar stool is most commonly used for home kitchen bars and islands. Its seat height is around 65 cm. The recommended height of the bar top is then between 91 - 95 cm.

Timeless BABILA collection

Inspired by classic design of the last century, the BABILA collection was designed by Italian designer Odo Fioravanti, who is renowned for his innovative designs. The charm of Babila furniture lies in its simplicity and timelessness, which make the pieces suitable for all residential and public spaces such as cafes, restaurants, bars, offices and home dining rooms. The products are CATAS tested, allowing for use in high stress public spaces and also boast FSC certification.

The collection includes simple chairs without arms and with arms - this type has a lightweight back, lounge chairs, bar stools and tables. The chairs in the Babila range are made up of either a shell alone or a shell with an armrest. You will also find fully upholstered chairs with slatted, wooden or steel four-legged or central base. Bar and low stools are made of ash, as are the four-legged bases of chairs, armchairs and tables.
