TheTONELLA bar stool is the brainchild of Swedish design studio Note, who added a touch of French design to its Spanish roots, giving the product a new innovative angle. The design was inspired by the wine barrels that are found on almost every corner in the Yacle wine region, where the company is based. The bar is versatile, comfortable and sturdy, making it an ideal piece for homes, hotel rooms and other public spaces. The seat is made of molded polyurethane foam and upholstered in fabric or leather from a plethora of colors. The lacquered steel base and armrest are available in many attractive shades, making it easy to match the finished piece to the rest of your interior. The TONELLA bar stool is also available in a high version.
High or low bar stool? Which is the right one?
High bar stools are mainly used in restaurants, bars, bistros and other eating establishments. It is characterised by a seat height of around 75 cm. For a high bar stool, it is recommended to have a bar top between 110 and 115 cm high.
Thelow or also kitchen bar stool is most commonly used for home kitchen bars and islands. Its seat height is around 65 cm. The recommended height of the bar top is then between 91 - 95 cm.
