AMA Collection
The artistic director of Bomma, Václav Mlynář, found inspiration in the shells that give birth to pearls. The name of the AMA collection refers to Japanese pearl hunters. Just as the shell hides its precious treasure, an open or closed luminaire made of cut glass guards the light source. Each piece is made using a special glassmaking technique where it is heated over two days and gradually melted into a mould by its own weight.
