From the history of CASALA

The company was founded in 1917 in the town of Lauenau near Hanover, Germany. In the first two years it produced wooden shoe soles, but eventually switched to the production of wooden furniture. Gradually, pieces made of metal and upholstered furniture were added, and the company switched to sustainable production methods. Today, CASALA offers a complete portfolio of quality custom, eco-friendly and refurbished furniture. The company is based in the Netherlands, but also has representation in Germany, England and France.

Over the years, the company has worked with a large number of world-class designers, such as Andreas Ostwald, Arik Levy, Björn Mulder, Bruno Vermeersch and the Delphin Design studio.

CASALA CIRCULAR Sustainable Programme

CASALA furniture is manufactured using as many recycled resources as possible to minimise the environmental burden of using new resources. Specific product lines, such as CURVY and FENIKS, even have an extremely high proportion of eco-friendly materials. These products are covered by a special Circular Guarantee, which provides the product owner with a redemption value when the furniture reaches the end of its life.
