FRANK RETTENBACHER

Frank Rettenbacher is an Austrian designer who lives and works in Amsterdam. As Creative Director of A.D.O. Amsterdam Design Office, he designs products for the Philips TV and Audio brand and collaborates with external companies. In addition, he designs furniture under his own brand for prestigious manufacturers such as Germany's Thonet and Italy's Zanotta.

After graduating from the University of Applied Sciences in Graz, he first worked on car design for Audi. He then focused on lighting, consumer electronics and strategic design at Philips. And it was for the glass TV for this brand that he won several international design awards. This work was even included in the permanent collection of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. In addition to design, Frank Rettenbacher is also a musician.
