Kaschkasch

The Kaschkasch design studio was founded in 2011 by Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider. The duo works on furniture, lighting and art designs for a number of international clients.

Collaboration and discussion is one of the key aspects of Kaschkasch's work. They approach design as a useful and practical part of life, expressing character and attitudes through expressive moderation. Based on this approach to design, Kaschkasch creates a distinctive formal language present in each of their designs: a symbiosis of directness and beauty that straddles the line between function and formal austerity. The results are modest, demanding in quality, intelligent and logical. They challenge prevailing norms and offer new answers. Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider combine practical and academic training in their work. Both are trained carpenters and studied product design. This versatility influences everything they do.
