Marc Berthier

Designer and architect Marc Berthier' s work revolves mainly around the design of industrial products and his work is spiced with international flavours. He works in France with Lexon, in Italy with MAGIS, in Germany with Black Design, in Hong Kong with Hedworth and in Japan with Dé Signe. His work has been selected for the permanent collections of the Musée National d'Art Moderne, Arts-Décoratifs Museum and Fond National d'Art Contemporain in France and MoMA in New York.

His approach to design is both innovative and very playful, so that even an ordinary piece of furniture is not what it seems. His approach can be seen perfectly in his collaboration with Magis, where you will find the now classic and iconic piece, the Aviva chair.
