Studio Schwestern

Sustainability, simplicity and beautiful and functional design are key to the collaborative work of sister architectural studio Schwestern. The studio engages in a wide range of activities in which it puts energy based on dialogue. They consider quality and renewable materials, mirroring the client's personality and the uniqueness of each project to be important. Monika Cihlářová graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University, her sister Iveta Šalamounová from the Academy of Fine Arts (Intermedia II studio) and UMPRUM in the Furniture and Interior Design studio. Together, they work in architecture, design, art and occasionally organize events and workshops. They have designed several pieces of furniture for the Czech brand PROFIL .
