SERRALUNGA history

SERRALUNGA is an Italian leading company that has over 200 years of experience in producing garden furniture of the highest quality. Founded in Biella in 1825, it bears the name of the family that has been the creative and entrepreneurial heart of the company for six generations. It was the first in the world to use a unique rotational moulding process on plastic, which today allows it to produce objects of enormous dimensions. The company processes more than 1,200 tons of plastic and produces approximately 200,000 items annually.

The SERRALUNGA production process

Passion for technology, together with tradition, are at the heart of the SERRALUNGA brand, which celebrates Made in Italy design through original and valuable collections . The result is a combination of shapes and unique interpretations that can transform a purely functional object into a stunning piece of furniture. The production process is carried out in seven basic points, resulting in a final product that shines in gardens, on balconies and in hotels. 100% recyclable polyethylene is used for production.

SERRALUNGA knows this, having worked with many talented artists over its long history, such as Joan Gaspar, Eero Aarnio, Marc Sadler, Philippe Starck, Zaha Hadid, Karim Rashid, Michel Boucquillon, Marta Daza Fernandez, Aldo Cibic, Michele De Lucchi and Jean-Marie Massaud.

Realisations and world hotels

The brand offers many variations of planters, illuminated vases, outdoor lights and garden furniture, mainly made of durable and high-quality plastics. The combination of shapes allows ordinary objects to be turned into stylish works of art. Majestic luminous objects illuminate gardens, city streets and hotel corners. Their pieces can be found all over the world, for example in the Hilton Hotel in Turkey, the Emirates Tower in Dubai or the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza.
