Designed by Industrial Facility (Sam Hecht and Kim Colin) for Thonet,the S 220 chair takes inspiration from the iconic lines of the classic 214 and 209 models. The result is a material-saving and lightweightchair that takes the technical possibilities of pressed plywood to a new level. The chair's shaped backrest gently cradles your back and the upholstered seat offers even more comfort. Choose from a wide range of fabrics and leathers, including the option to supply your own material. The plywood shell is available in oak, walnut or beech in a variety of finishes. The central swivel base is made from polished aluminium and finished with universal castors. This model is height adjustable. Thanks to its understated organic shape, precise lines and high variability, the entire collection is perfectly suited for private dining rooms, home offices, modern cafes and large commercial projects and office spaces.
