Original modern design

TheCzech brand YLGU, which deals with handmade concrete furniture and furnishings for modern interiors, was founded by Jan Nohejl. At the beginning was Honz's enthusiasm for this unusual material and obsession with bending and shaping it in various ways, which requires a considerable amount of skill and adrenaline. Thanks to this passion for the cause, however, it was possible to push the previous boundaries of production. In the finished products, the rawness of the concrete and the subsequent elegance of the form it acquires through the bending process collide at first glance. The central raw materials are Danish cement, German sand and Japanese fibreglass. The surface of the furniture is impregnated.
