Cantarutti creates consistent, traditional Italian chair designs using high quality materials. The Italian company designs chairs for private and public spaces where we live or work. The company was founded in 1970 as a family business. It collaborates with international makers and designers to develop new products. Over the last 40 years, the family business has developed into a modern and competitive company whose products are comfortable, functional and design-led. These include designer chairs, designer armchairs, designer bar stools and designer tables. Respect for the environment is an integral part of the company. The wood Cantarutti uses for production comes from responsibly managed forests.

Cantarutti's history

Founded in 1970 in Italy, the entire production process from prototyping, processing, assembly, dyeing, polishing to upholstery is still carried out in the Italian factory. They have invested in state-of-the-art machinery and internalized many operations, thus gaining better control over the quality of the product. Thousands of unfinished pieces are always available in the warehouse, ready to be processed according to individual requirements.

Cantarutti produces design products with care and quality. The products are inspired by light and nature. From nature comes the most important raw material Cantarutti processes - carefully selected wood with fragrance. Next is metal, which can be customized in any color. Cantarutti has a special separate workshop for upholstery. The tailoring workshop is equipped with the latest generation of machines and customized designs are produced here. Cantarutti pays great attention to precision and attention to detail.

Cantarutti has many valuable and talented design contacts all over the world. The Oslo-based design duo Anderssen & Voll have already worked with many leading European brands and have won many design awards. Among the local designers, the brand has enjoyed collaborations with the duo LucidiPevere and Milan's Studio Klass. It has also collaborated with Enzo Berti for 30 years. Designer Adam Goodrum works for the brand from as far away as Australia.
