PROFIM is aware of the enormous impact that chairs have on the health, well-being and comfort of the people who use them. The more furniture there is in offices, hotels and public spaces, the greater the responsibility for its functionality and reliability. Since the company's inception, dozens of unique collections have been developed in collaboration with an international group of award-winning designers. Innovative technologies and an experienced team of engineers make it possible to implement even the most complex forms. Today's position of the Polish company PROFIM is the result of many years of systematic work and continuous development of the company. It was founded in 1991 and initially traded in imported furniture. Three years later, it started producing office chairs and armchairs that meet the highest standards in terms of ergonomics, quality and design.

Thanks to its metal processing and chrome plating department, powder coating and foam casting department, PROFIM manufactures most of the components of its chairs and armchairs itself. This allows them to fully control the process and comply with the highest quality requirements. PROFIM is strongly client-oriented, focused on their needs and strives to meet them as best as possible. Furthermore, the company strives to continue its development with respect for the environment.

The PROFIM brand has won a number of prestigious awards in collaboration with big design names.

Collaboration with designers

PROFIM regularly collaborates with renowned designers. The award-winning Chic collection was designed by Christophe Pillet, whileOctoberwas created by Hilary Birkbeck, who is patenting his own mechanisms for swivel office chairs. ITO, based in Nuremberg, Germany and Cham, Switzerland, has created a distinguished international group of designers who consider innovation and sustainable functionality to be essential features of their products. For PROFIM they have designed the Xenon, Xenon Net, LightUp and Wyspa series.

Tomek Rygalik has won a number of prestigious international awards - including first prize in the International Bombay Sapphire Martini Glass Design Competition (2006), BSI Environmental Design Award (2005), Rosenthal Design Award (2004), and was also a finalist in The British Council International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year (2007). He designed the Hover collection, Wall In and the Seven coat rack for Profim.

PROFIM collections are Möbelfakt certified!

The certification process is long and extremely demanding; certified products must meet the highest requirements for durability and safety, environmental care and social responsibility. Achieving Möbelfakta certification requires meeting a number of conditions - from special employee training to collecting and providing complete documentation to confirm that the stringent requirements have been met. As the only manufacturer of office chairs in Poland, the company can boast that almost 25 collections - from swivel chairs to conference chairs to soft seating - have been certified by Möbelfakta.
