The Czech company RESI was founded in 1998 in Trebon. Its primary purpose was to manufacture and supply handling tables of its own design for rehabilitation, physiotherapy and related fields. However, the company has continuously expanded its successful product line. Today, it is one of the leading manufacturers of rehabilitation beds in the Czech Republic. RESI couches and rehabilitation equipment are used by private physicians and physiotherapists, as well as teaching hospitals. Gradually, other types of recliners have been added to the production programme, such as examination tables for gynaecology, osteopathy, or transport and transfusion recliners for hospitals. Approximately 50 different types of couches are currently manufactured under the registered brand JORDAN. The RESI product portfolio also includes rehabilitation and exercise aids (steps, bars, traction cages, balls, mats, ribstones) or additional furniture such as stools, chairs, swivel chairs, waiting room benches and screens.
