Traditional design
80 million units already. That's how many number 14 chairs have been sold since its introduction in 1859. Its iconic shape is made up of eight hand-bent beech logs, two screws and ten bolts. Because of its light weight, good price and its reputed quality and strength, the bar stool quickly found its place in Vienna's cafés, earning it the nickname "café chair". A classic chair was also created to go with this piece, which will do the trick in restaurants and cafés.


High or low bar stool? Which is the right one?
High bar stools are mainly used in restaurants, bars, bistros and other eating establishments. It is characterised by a seat height of around 75 cm. It is recommended to have a bar top height between 110 and 115 cm for a high bar stool.
The low or also kitchen bar stool is most commonly used for home kitchen bars and islands. Its seat height is around 65 cm. The recommended height of the bar top is between 91 - 95 cm.
