History of NOVAMOBILI
NOVAMOBILI is a subsidiary of Battistella. The history of both dates back to 1953, when the young Alfredo Battistella decided to break into the furniture industry. At that time, the budding entrepreneur probably had no idea that under his leadership he would build one of the best designer furniture companies in Italy.
We design furniture with a strong emphasis on ergonomics and function, and design that serves real needs and stands the test of time.
A philosophy inspired by the home
Novamobili stands out in the furniture world for its modular systems inspired by personal concepts of home life. It designs furniture according to its own rules and builds spaces around objects that people want to keep close to them. The company's core values are modularity, flexibility, mutual functionality and wide usability. The products reflect a clear expression of craftsmanship tradition, set in a technologically advanced society open to future challenges. The company is made up of a team of designers, architects and engineers who always come up with innovative and tailor-made solutions.

Every stage of the process, from the concept to the first rough sketches, the prototype to the final configuration of the products that will be part of the collection, is handled by Novamobili's studio.
International designers for NOVAMOBILI
In order to translate the designs into current trends, Novamobili has teamed up with leading names in international design who work closely with the in-house design department. These include Philippe Nigro, Federica Biasi, Valeria Carleso, Studio E-GGS, Zanellato and Bortotto, among others.
Safety and sustainability
Sustainable growth and implementing an ecological approach to protect our precious natural heritage are two of the challenges Novamobili faces every day. The company has its own rules for sourcing and using materials (all must be compatible with the environment), and is committed to further reducing the environmental impact of its products and processes. Novamobili furniture also has international certifications: the Eco Panel (guarantees the use of 100% recycled wood) and Carb2 (California Air Resources Board).
