Danish designer Philip Bro was inspired by the famous sculptures of the Easter Islands to create the Moai armchair, which this piece resembles in profile and name. The high, rounded shell of the chair adds privacy and was also originally inspired by the shape of pebbles on the seashore, perfectly smoothed by the never-ending work and power of the sea waves. This unique piece has earned the Good Design Award 2017 and the German Design Award 2018. The swivel base is available in a black lacquered version or polished chrome. The chair is fully upholstered. The range of upholstery colours and materials is very wide, including the option to supply your own fabric. The practical removable cover can be dry cleaned. It is also available in a four-legged version or as a two-seater. On request, this model can be fitted with special interior materials to increase fire resistance.
