Danish designer Philip Bro drew inspiration for the Moai armchair from the famous statues of Easter Island, which this piece resembles in both its profile and its name. The armchair’s tall, curved shell provides privacy and was originally inspired by the shape of pebbles on the seashore, perfectly smoothed by the never-ending work and power of the ocean waves. This unique piece has earned the 2017 Good Design Award and the 2018 German Design Award. The steel frame is available in black or white lacquer, or in solid ash wood with a natural or black lacquered finish. The chair is fully upholstered, and the internal foam is specially treated for enhanced fire resistance. The range of upholstery colors and materials is very wide, including the option to supply your own fabric. The practical removable cover is dry-cleanable. It is also available in a swivel version or as a two-seater sofa. So treat your home or business to a piece that will become an eye-catching focal point and bring style to your interior!
